About
Hi, I’m Casey — artist, educator, and founder of Constructive Creativity™.
For more than 15 years, I’ve worked as an educator across elementary, middle, and high school settings, helping students navigate creativity, problem solving, growth, and the uncertainty that often accompanies the creative process. I’ve also served as a mentor teacher, supporting fellow educators through reflection, collaboration, and instructional development.
Through these experiences, I began noticing patterns that extended far beyond the classroom: many people struggle not because they lack ideas or ability, but because they feel overwhelmed by complexity, pulled in multiple directions, or uncertain about how to move forward.
Constructive Creativity™ grew from years of classroom experience, creative practice, and ongoing study of research related to learning, creativity, cognitive science, and reflective practice. Those influences became the foundation of the Constructive Creativity™ Framework.
My work combines:
→ 15+ years of teaching and curriculum design experience
→ Creative problem solving and reflective practice
→ Systems thinking and pattern recognition
→ Experience designing tools, frameworks, and learning experiences
→ An active creative practice rooted in experimentation and material inquiry
I’m less interested in providing perfect answers and more interested in helping people see possibilities, untangle complexity, and develop more intentional and sustainable ways of moving forward.
Whether you're an artist, educator, maker, or multidimensional thinker, my goal is to create space for greater clarity, curiosity, and meaningful next steps.
